Overview
The Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf in the Kingdom of Bahrain has issued an official announcement establishing a dedicated committee to address stalled real estate development projects linked to Bin Faqih Real Estate Investment Company and Mr. Faisal Abdulwahid Faqih. The announcement invites all individuals and entities holding rights or claims in connection with these projects to come forward and submit their claims in accordance with the prescribed procedure.
Key Details of the Announcement
Affected Parties
The announcement is directed at all individuals and entities that hold rights or claims arising from or connected to the real estate development projects of Bin Faqih Real Estate Investment Company and Mr. Faisal Abdulwahid Faqih. As specified in the announcement, this includes owners and holders of rights in connection with the projects, buyers or reservation holders of residential units and apartments within the affected developments, contractors engaged on the projects, companies with outstanding obligations or interests, and any other party with a right against any of the projects.
Requirement to Submit Claims
All affected parties are required to submit their claims to the committee established by the Ministry. Each submission must be accompanied by all relevant supporting documentation, including contracts, payment records, correspondence, and any other evidence substantiating the nature and value of the claim. Incomplete submissions may not receive full consideration by the committee.
Submission Process
Claims must be submitted by completing the official claims form, which is accessible by scanning the QR code provided in the Ministry’s announcement. Once completed, the form and all accompanying supporting documentation must be sent via email to the designated address: stalled_binfaqeeh@moj.gov.bh. Affected parties should ensure that the form is completed in full and that all accompanying documentation is properly compiled and attached in accordance with any instructions published by the Ministry.
Timeliness of Submission
Affected parties are strongly encouraged to begin preparing and submitting their claims as promptly as possible. While the announcement does not specify a fixed deadline, parties should not delay, as early engagement will allow sufficient time to compile the necessary supporting documentation and ensure that submissions are complete and accurate.
