Aligned with our mission, the Institute has formed a Board Secretary Forum to raise the profile of Board Secretaries across the GCC and the important role they play on boards.
The objective of the Board Secretary Forum is to identify key issues that Board Secretaries face across the GCC and how GCC BDI can provide solutions to support Board Secretaries.
Objectives include:
- Raise the profile of Board Secretaries
- Provide networking opportunities for Board Secretaries
- Share knowledge and ideas among Board Secretaries
An Advisory Board is formed under the Board Secretary Forum to advise and support the Institute regarding the Board Secretary Forum. The Board Secretary Forum brings together board secretaries from across the GCC to support the wider community of board secretaries, strengthen their capabilities, share up-to-date information on board secretarial practices, encourage networking to strengthen relationships and foster the profession across the region.
