Hicham Cherkaoui

Hicham served leading companies in the market such as KPMG, Courtaulds Textiles, Pfizer, Emaar, Nestle and Albatha Group. He has worked in Morocco, Algeria handling Francophone Africa Region before moving to Dubai in 2008 where he served positions covering Africa & Middle East (Pfizer/Nestle) and GCC, UK, UAE with Albatha Group/Albatha Healthcare.

Hicham managed diverse types of finance structures ranging from small/medium size team organizations to big/multiple location/regional structures including shared services coordination.

He has a strong knowledge of FMCG, healthcare and other sectors' specificities and trends in the Middle East, Levant, North & Sub-Saharan Africa, Iraq and Iran regions. During his tenure with Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Pfizer Nutrition/Nestle and Albatha Healthcare (Modern Pharmaceutical Company); he has developed a strong exposure to diverse aspects of FMCG/healthcare industries such as logistics & distribution, trade marketing & promotion, compliance, pricing,  supply chain/procurement, managing transactions with sanctioned countries (Syria/Iran/Libya/Sudan...), treasury/cash/working capital management, Financial Planning & Analysis and Mergers & Acquisitions.

Hicham has as well completed recently his Diploma in Corporate Governance and a Certificate in ESG with the Corporate Governance Institute (CGI).

He holds a bachelor degree in finance & accounting and a CPA from I.S.C.A.E, Morocco. He is dynamic, enthusiastic, value and result-driven finance professional with over 29 years of experience in Audit, Corporate Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Development & General Management.

Hicham was born in Salé Morocco in 1972, he is married and has three daughters. He likes cycling, swimming, tennis and hiking.
