Lisa has spent 20 years working in learning and development, focused on L&D strategy, design, facilitation, board and governance education, succession planning, and talent development in Canada, Australia, and the GCC. She is a Learning & Development Leader for North America Investments at WTW (Willis Towers Watson) with a focus on leadership, people development, and culture for Investments colleagues in Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

Previously, she was Head of Professional Development at GCC Board Directors Institute (GCC BDI), where she led the Programme Team responsible for delivering the Certificate in Board Directorship, Diploma in Board Directorship, Chartered Director designation, Certified Board Secretary Programme, and tailored governance education programmes and projects. She was also responsible for leading GCC BDI’s thought leadership, including Women on Boards in the GCC, the GCC BDI & Heidrick & Struggles Board Effectiveness Review, and the GCC BDI and McKinsey State of AI Research.

Lisa earned a PhD (Business, 2023) from the University of Sydney Business School, which focused on gender equality at work and home through a study of men, fatherhood, and flexible work. She has also lectured at The University of Sydney Business School, McMaster University, George Brown College, and Guest Lectured at Higher Colleges of Technology in the UAE. She completed her Master's Degree (Education, 2013) and Undergraduate Degree (Political Science, 2004) at the University of Toronto.
