Alison Owers

Alison joined Sodali & Co in 2023 and is responsible for overseeing the EMEA and APAC strategy to provide a broad range of shareholder services including capital markets intelligence, investor relations and engagement services to clients.  

Before joining Morrow Sodali, Alison spent 12 years at Orient Capital and D.F. King Ltd in various senior leadership roles in the UK and EMEA and most recently as their Global CEO, working with some of the world's largest companies to support shareholder engagement and investor relations activities. 

Previously she spent seven years at Capita plc as their Head of Investor Relations Services before being promoted to Managing Director of IR Services.  She started her career within investment banking at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein.

Alison is the current Deputy Chair of the UK Investor Relations Society and chair of their Membership Committee. 

She is an active industry body participant for groups including MEIRA (Middle East IR Association), AIRA (Australasian IR Association), the South African IR Society and DIRK (Deutscher IR Verband) and has regularly spoken at their conferences as well as being asked to participate as an expert in their education / training programmes.
