Dr. Basmah Omair is a results-driven executive and an influential member of multiple boards of directors, bringing over 20 years of diverse experience across various industries, including public, private, and non-profit sectors. She has a proven track record of spearheading national strategic initiatives from concept to execution, establishing strategic partnerships, shaping policies, and leading impactful programs.

As the founder and CEO of Behavioral Management Consulting, Dr. Omair, brings her specialized expertise in integrating human behavior into strategies, policies, and cultural shifts with a strong focus on economic impact. By leveraging her deep understanding of stakeholder behaviors and economic dynamics, she has successfully developed realistic, efficient, and cost-effective solutions across various industries such as sports, automotive, energy, and education. Dr. Omair empowers organizations to unlock their full potential, driving both financial and societal growth. Her strategic guidance helps clients navigate complexities in a rapidly changing economic landscape while making informed decisions that yield longterm financial benefits.

During her 13-year leadership as CEO of Alsayedah Khadijah Bint Khawilid Businesswomen Center (AKBKC) at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Omair played a pivotal role in collaborating with government decisionmakers to draft legislation and regulatory reforms aimed at fostering female national participation. Her efforts extended to industries such as retail, manufacturing, beauty, sports, food and beverage, amusement, and various corporate functions. She also supported numerous entities in assessing and enhancing their organizational culture and policies to attract and retain female talent.

Boards of Directors:

As a certified director,Dr. Omair's extensive board experience spans industries such as FMCG, retail, manufacturing, education, and training. She has served on over 20 boards, such as Sunbulah Group, the Gender Inclusion Advisory Board at the Saudi Ministry of Labor, the advisory board of GCC Board of Directors institute, and the Industrial Advisory Board at Prince Sultan University. She also held notable positions such as chairing the W20 Female Labor Market Inclusion Committee in Germany 2017, a member in the B20 Digitization Task Force in Saudi Arabia 2020. And a member of the B20 Future of Work & Education 2022.

Recognition & Influence:

In recognition of her dedication to driving positive change and contributing to national progress, Dr. Omair was honored as one of the Top 100 Most Powerful Arab Women by Arabian Business Magazine consecutively from 2010 to 2014. In 2014, she was also selected as one of the 30 Most Powerful and Influential Saudi Women by Arabian Business. Sayidaty Magazine named her one of the Top 10 Most Economically Influential Female Leaders in Saudi Arabia in 2019. Furthermore, in 2022, she was recognized as one of the top 20 inspiring Saudi women by Abouther. Dr. Omair has welcomed over 400 international delegations, hosting high-profile officials, and has been invited as a speaker to more than 320 global and local conferences and events.

Education:

Having lived and worked in the United States for over 23 years, Dr. Omair possesses a unique ability to bridge the gap between Eastern and Western perspectives by tailoring global standards to local needs.

In 2020, she completed the Behavioral Economics Program at Harvard University, equipping her with fundamental insights into designing policies that shape people's behaviors and choices. Dr. Omair is also a certified board director from the GCC Board Directors Institute (GCC BDI). She successfully completed INSEAD's Gender Diversity Program, which focuses on enhancing women's representation at all organizational levels while maximizing performance.

Dr. Omair holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Marketing (1993), a Master's degree in Special Education (1997),and a PhD in Education Technology/ Leadership and Management (2004) from the American University in Washington, DC.
