Adnan Soufi is Founder and Managing Partner of DAS Partners (www.das-partners.com); an expert-based trusted advisory firm, specialized in corporate and ecosystem governance progression, value creation by owners and boards, innovation and change management and capacity building for transformation programs, and advancing institutional investment processes; focusing on advising owners and leaders in public and private sector leadership positions; relying on independent and evidence-based analysis and systemic coaching.

Adnan Soufi has served on multiple boards, including Private, Listed, Government-Owned, FamilyOwned, VC and Holding Company Boards, as well as Non-for-Profit Boards. He is currently Chairman of Ashmore Investment Saudi Arabia

His governance experience includes forming new boards and serving as an independent member on established boards, both advisory and fiduciary, in addition to being appointed by Royal Decree in 2014 as a Board Commissioner in the Saudi Capital Market Authority.

He has performed audit, governance, and compensation committee work and chaired the Advisory Committees of 2 regulatory bodies in Saudi Arabia: the CMA and the Endowment Authority. Prior to his appointment as Board Commissioner at the CMA, he held various high-level positions at SEDCO since 1991 for 25 years, including CEO of SEDCO Holding. He stared his career in Academia in 1984 as a Professor of Finance and Strategy and Leadership and served as Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administration at King Abdulaziz University.

• Ph.D. in Business Administration and International Finance from the George Washington University in USA,
