AbdulRaheem Bawazeer is the Head of Public Sector in Google Cloud, Saudi Arabia. He has 30 years of experience with a mission to participate actively in enabling and accelerating technology transformation in Saudi Arabia and the GCC. 

For more than 17 years, he served in leadership roles in Fortune 500 technology companies, including Microsoft, HP, Dell, SAP, and Google. During these years, he established a strong presence for these internationals in Saudi Arabia helping them meet their growth plans, building local teams, and smoothly integrating with their corporate culture and governance. 

AbdulRaheem also worked in SALIC, a PIF company, as the Chief Portfolio Officer, where he assumed the responsibility of managing its portfolio of global investments and developed SALIC’s worldwide governance and risk frameworks. 

He also established global and local startups in the strategy consulting, technology, real estate, education, and sustainability markets. AbdulRaheem provided advisory and consulting services to senior government officials from ministries, universities, and authorities in activities mainly related to the realization of Saudi Vision 2030. As a director, he served on several local and international boards. 

AbdulRaheem holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, Dhahran, KSA. He also completed several executive development programs in finance, governance, and leadership. He is fluent in Arabic and English, and is married with 3 daughters.
