Description:
A practical and highly interactive two day non residential programme aimed at directors and senior executives.
Ignorance of finance matters is no excuse. Directors cannot rely on blind faith on the CFO/FD for comfort, they have a duty to the company and its stakeholders to make valuable contributions to Board debate and discussions. Their position of collective responsibility at board level means just that.

Facilitators:
Jean Pousson 


Jean Pousson brings 20 years of management consultancy, training, facilitation and coaching experience to the table and is the lead course leader for Finance for Non-Financial Directors at the IoD (UK). This follows a 15 year banking career with Barclays where he spent many years assessing risks of small to medium sized businesses and then larger corporations. Jean has also sat on many boards and has directed a number of change initiatives. Jean holds a business degree and a business diploma from the University of Witwatersrand (South Africa) and a few other business diplomas, including one from the University of Warwick. Jean’s experience in dealing with numerous businesses, boards and executives over the years (both within the UK and internationally) makes him very well placed to assist directors with their developmental needs. In his capacity as an IoD (UK)course leader, Jean has worked with organisations such as ACAS, Ministry of Defence, Standard Life, Serco, Lloyds Banking Group, Pizza Express, Fujitsu Siemens, Callaway Golf and Greene King plc. He has also worked with numerous small to medium-sized businesses across a wide variety of industries.
